Learn how to send workplace Activity Logs to a Discord channel.
Requires an upgraded subscription
This feature is available with our Team and Enterprise plans. View our plans or book a demo for more details.
Prerequisites
- Access permissions to create a webhook for your Discord server.
- Doppler Team plan
Create a Discord Webhook
Open the Server Settings for your Discord server.
Click on the Integrations section and then the Create Webhook button.
Click the New Webhook button.
Now, set the icon you want to be used (you can use the Doppler Logo), the name of the webhook, and which channel you want the posts to go into. Then click on the Copy Webhook URL button.
Add Discord Webhook to Workplace
Now that you have the Discord webhook URL, browse to your Doppler dashboard, click on the Settings link in the left sidebar, and scroll down to the Logging Services section. Paste your URL into the Discord field and then make sure you add /slack
to the end of the URL. Finally, click the Save button.
You need to use Discord's Slack-compatible webhook, which is just a normal Discord webhook with
/slack
added to the end, so make sure you don't forget to add that last bit to the URL!
Nicely Done!
Your workplace is configured to automatically post to your Discord channel for any new activity.
